"Children roamed freely, as long as they didn't play "on the tracks", around the machinery or shops; deer often wandered the streets and through yards as did horses. Bears sometimes romped about town, but the back porch was off limits" to those critters.-Wayne McGaw
Why is the back porch off limits? Was there a back porch?
ReplyDeleteBears at the old dump were okay, but when they roamed onto someone's back porch that was a no no.
